Swimsuit Care Recommendations

To help you enjoy our pools and hot tubs while taking care of your swimsuit, we share some useful recommendations:

Swimsuits and Chlorine

Some swimsuits include the following symbol on their label:

This symbol indicates that the fabric is not suitable for contact with chlorinated water.
In these cases, the color of the swimsuit may be affected when using pools or hot tubs, even if it has been used previously in other pools.

Use of Creams and Tanning Lotions

Sunscreens, oils, and tanning lotions, upon contact with pool chlorine, can cause reactions that:

  • Deteriorate the fabric
  • Accelerate color loss
  • Cause stains or discoloration.

Hot Water

Hot and very hot water, especially in hot tubs, intensifies the effect of chlorine on fabrics, increasing the risk of wear and fading of the swimsuit.

Sun Drying Without Prior Rinsing

Drying the swimsuit directly in the sun without rinsing beforehand can lead to:

  • Chlorine remaining in the fabric,
  • The sun acting as an accelerator,
  • Faster and irreversible discoloration occurring.

Our Recommendations

  • Rinse with fresh water before and after using the pool or hot tub.
  • Avoid using swimsuits not suitable for chlorine.
  • Rinse the swimsuit before sun drying.

All our pools strictly comply with current health regulations.
The hotel is not responsible for the deterioration of personal garments resulting from the use of pools or hot tubs, regardless of their composition or labeling.
