In our effort to lead the change towards a more sustainable tourism, ADRIAN Hoteles has joined forces in a pioneering project that will make a difference, starting with our hotel Jardines de Nivaria. This project combines innovative technology, environmental commitment and strategic collaboration, paving the way for a greener future in the hotel industry.

Food waste is a global problem that affects the HORECA industry to a great extent. Aware of this reality, our chain has partnered with Effiwaste, a Canarian startup dedicated to combating food waste and organic waste through technological solutions and sustainable practices.

The project consists of implementing innovative software that allows us to measure and analyse food waste in real time. Thanks to this tool, we will be able to manage our operations more efficiently, adapting menus and reducing waste significantly. The implementation not only has a positive impact on the environment, but also on the economic aspect since, by reducing food waste, it will allow us to save costs and improve our profitability, while fulfilling our commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

Prior to this implementation, the kitchen staff in charge of measuring has been trained and made aware of the implications of food waste, organic waste management and sustainable tourism.Jardines de Nivaria is just the beginning. With the success of this pilot project, we will be ready to expand this collaboration to the other two hotels Roca Nivaria GH and Colón Guanahaní in the near future.

The Easter season is coming and at Roca Nivaria GH we are getting ready to welcome all families for a holiday full of fun and activities!
From the 24th of March to the 1st of April, we have organised an animation programme full of entertainment, and we want you to be part of this unforgettable experience!

Our Miniclub, as always, will be open every day at 11am with a wide variety of Easter themed activities. From decorating wooden figures to making our own Easter bunnies, there will be plenty of crafts and games for the little ones to enjoy and let their creativity run wild.

On 25th March, we will get into the spirit of solidarity with a special Fair full of colour and fun to welcome the Easter festivities. All proceeds raised on this day will go to our ADRIAN Hoteles Foundation.
And of course, we can’t forget the most exciting event: the Egg Hunt! On the afternoon of the 29th of March, our entertainers will lead the children on an adventure to find Easter eggs hidden throughout the hotel. Excitement is guaranteed, and at the end of the search, all participants will receive delicious chocolate eggs as a reward!
This year, we’re also bringing something new: The Challenge Bunny! Join our fun and creative challenges where you can take on the Rabbit in challenges such as arm wrestling, dancing, singing, etc. Win and get three chocolate eggs as a prize!
For the more sporty ones, we will have activities such as football, basketball, wáter polo, rifle and archery, yoga and more. And for families, there’s no shortage of exciting water activities such as water carpets, water bingo and gymkhanas.

Our Restaurant La Cúpula, located in ADRIAN Hoteles Jardines de Nivaria, has been awarded 2 Soles from the Repsol Guide at the awards gala held on the 4th of March.

Two years after receiving for the first time "1 Sol Repsol Guide", and to maintain it during 2023, our restaurant La Cúpula under the command of the chef Rubén Cabrera has achieved its second Sol of the prestigious Repsol Guide this 2024.

This recognition is a prestigious distinction awarded by the Repsol Guide to the best restaurants and chefs. It is a symbol of culinary excellence and a sign of Repsol''s commitment and support for gastronomy in Spain and Portugal. A total of 70 inspectors visit the different establishments and are the ones who decide on these awards. Not only is culinary excellence taken into account, but also the quality of the raw material and its execution, respect for the cuisine of the region, the menu, the wine list and, of course, the service at the table and in the dining room.

As they define a restaurant with 2 Soles Repsol Guide means that it is: "A place that stands out for developing a concept in which the cuisine shows maturity, potential and ambition to continue evolving. It stands out for its mastery of technique and the search for the best raw materials. With an impeccable service that allows the service to flow naturally, and a well thought-out wine cellar. It is well worth the many kilometres travelled".

The cuisine of our Restaurant La Cúpula, one of the 16 new 2 Soles Repsol Guide 2023, is characterised by the quality of its products, the sophistication of its cuisine and the friendliness of the service that makes you feel like the protagonist of a special evening. In addition, the conception of gastronomy is based on tradition, mixing creative and avant-garde techniques. Fresh and seasonal products, both local and international, are the basis of its cuisine.

Today, we would like to highlight the commitment and dedication shown by our ADRIAN Hoteles Foundation to projects that make a difference in the society.

It is an exciting year ahead as they have become involved in projects in different fields:

In the area of health, they continue to work tirelessly to support those battling serious illnesses. For one more year, they have taken on the responsibility of covering the costs of accommodation and supplies for the Pequeño Valiente Children with Cancer Foundation in Madrid, providing a home for Canarian families whose children need cancer treatment in the capital. They have also extended their support to Asociación Corazón y Vida, providing housing for families whose children are facing complicated heart conditions and need specialised care in Tenerife or Madrid.

In the last two years, they have been particularly committed to medical research, supporting two projects at the Niño Jesús University Children''s Hospital in Madrid. The first on "the pathogenic bases of spinal cord aplasia in the paediatric age", a rare disease whose protocols for action date back to the 1970s. The aim is to generate new knowledge to develop new ways of preventing, diagnosing and treating bone marrow aplasia in children. This is the second year of funding. The other, and most recent, is a new study for the development of a rapid and accurate diagnostic tool based on the analysis of "Big Data" for paediatric spinal cord failure. The aim is to be able to discriminate between hereditary and/or acquired cases and thus optimise patient treatment.

They have also provided an 18-seater minibus for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) to facilitate the daily transport of cancer patients from the south of Tenerife to hospitals in the north of the island for treatment and consultations with specialists.

In the educational area, they continue to collaborate with the Agora Centre to provide 27 families with children with special needs and economic difficulties with specialised therapies in speech and language therapy, pedagogy, occupational therapy and psychology/psychotherapy, among others.

And in the social field, they collaborate with the "Close to you" project of the Association for Inclusion ACOMPÁÑAME, donating 6 Tablets to develop cognitive stimulation activities in the home sessions they carry out with the elderly.

2024 is full of challenges for our Foundation, but also of opportunities to make a real difference in people''s life. Together, we continue to work towards building a healthier, more educated and caring future for all.
